Urena said at the time that Clinton, 78, was admitted to the hospital on Monday for testing and observation after developing a fever.

Urena said Tuesday that the 42nd president and his family were “touched by the kind messages and good wishes he has received.”

“He sends his warmest wishes for a happy and healthy holiday season to everyone.”

The two-term president has faced a number of health concerns since leaving office in 2001.
